Testimonials

Jean S.

We spent 3 nights at The Retreat and loved every minute of it.  The house has character due to its age and has been updated with modern conveniences, style, and amenities.  The Retreat included irons, sewing machine tables, and a design wall so it was easy to set up to sew.  We were able to spread out and still have room to relax in the living and dining areas; the next time we will use the delightful private patio and yard if weather permits.  The house is located in downtown Loveland, a one block walk from restaurants and entertainment, including the Loveland bike and walking path.  We liked the facility so much that we ordered carryout and stayed in the house for all but one meal. The best testimonial I can offer is that we all loved it so much that we unanimously agreed to book another retreat, and already have it scheduled in early 2021.

Kathy W.

The Retreat was wonderful.  We have never had a better retreat experience. The house, the location, all the comfort of home, and the beautiful outdoor area. The chairs for sewing were so comfortable, good lighting, and cutting/ironing area was great. We will be back, for sure.

Karen B.

The Retreat in Loveland was the perfect place for our quilt retreat. The accommodations were first rate and the location was great. There were several restaurants within walking distance. We tried a different one every day. The set up that was provided for quilters was one of the reasons we tried The Retreat and we were not disappointed! We liked it so much we have already booked our spring retreat.

Denise P.

The Retreat is a large, wonderfully decorated, and well stocked getaway! We enjoyed our escape from reality and immersed ourselves in quilting. The host is very responsive and has thought of every amenity necessary. Looking forward to our next stay!

Janine K.

Very comfortable, well outfitted retreat for quilters. Good lighting, and not having to haul in my own chair, ironing board and sewing table is wonderful. Would recommend.
